Here are my favorite pictures from the trip (Just FYI, I'm probably going to break this mega gallery down into smaller gallery. 52 pages, sheesh!):

My European vacation is complete, the pictures are online and now I must rest.

Things I am anxiously waiting for:

  • Delivery of my camera
  • Gmail to add POP3 to my account

I woke up around 7:45 AM, looked at the clock and rolled over. When I rolled back, seemingly a minute later, it was 8:50 AM! Woohoo, I still made it to my 9 AM meeting only 15 minutes late. 25 minutes to shave, shower, dress, do my hair (though messily) and drive to work.

I'm not sure when it started, but I know it's been going on for at least a month. I now HATE Tori Amos. I started listening to her in sixth grade and used to religiously listen to her first two albums. Now, iTunes keeps taunting me with her later shit (Raspberry Swirl? OMFG.) and I just want it all off my playlist. Done.

I've heard a few bad things about eCost so I was a bit hesitant to order my 1 GB CF card from them. Not only was the ordering process fairly painless, I ordered the card yesterday afternoon and it was shipped at noon today! I used basic 2-day shipping and practically got it overnight all the way from Memphis, TN.

Here are the items I have purchased in the past 24 hours:

Canon EOS Digital Rebel

Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Lens

Lexar 1GB 80x CompactFlash Card

Hi! Bad blogger here. But but but, I have an excuse! I worked until 12:30 AM last night releasing a QFE. Without saying too much, let's just say that a huge launch was stopped simply because users were not getting voicemail indications.

I don't know if it was the lack of sleep or the stress I was under last night but I bit the bullet and bought a new camera and an additional lens!

BBC SPORT | Motorsport | World Rally | Rallying suffers double team blow:

  1. Ford fails to resign Duval: BAD
  2. Ford fails to resign Martin: BAD
  3. Mitsubishi and Skoda announce they will run full programs in '05: GOOD
  4. Ford resigns for four more years: GOOD
  5. Peugeot and Citroen announce they will pull out after '05: BAD

Sigh.

CNN.com Election 2004: Thanks to Jeff for pointing out this page. It shows a great breakdown of voter trends. Here are my immediate takeaways:

  • The only age group Kerry took was 18-29. Good job to the young voters out there! I hope you weren't just listening to Puff Daddy; he wasn't actually going to kill you.
  • Nice gradual increasing slope of Bush approval with income.
  • 67% support from those that listed religion as "none". This is in dramatic contrast to the 8% of people that listed "Religious Faith" as the MOST IMPORTANT QUALITY for a president. Can you believe that?
  • Overall, people that were concerned with the economy heavily favored Kerry. Why do so many people care about terrorism, religion, abortion, etc when the economy has a much greater affect on daily lives?
